The mission of the Department of Specialized Education Services is to prepare professionals for diverse roles in working with individuals with disabilities across the life span in a variety of education and community environments. Concurrently, faculty members provide leadership to the University, the community, the State, and the nation in their disciplines through their teaching, research, and service.
